We are searching for an experiencedSeniorDatabase Developer to join our team and help us build the next generation ofCustomer Relations Managementtools at CoStar.We are a collaborative group with a mix of native mobile data API / platform and front-end skills and we are working to drive our companys future with our proprietary CRM system.This position is located in Richmond VA and offers a schedule of Monday to Thursday in office and the option to work remote on Friday.ResponsibilitiesDesigning buildingtestingand deploying scalable reusable and maintainable applications that handle large amounts of data.Taking full ownership of your workfrom development and testingto eventual deployment and support in production.Collaborating with other engineers product owners designers and leadership.Becoming a trusted team member in matters of technical architecture designand code.Advocating for evolution and improvement - both technical and non-technical - within our teams. Includes new techtoolsand best practices.Base QualificationsBachelors Degree from an accredited not-for-profit university or college5years of experience troubleshooting common database issues5experience in developing implementing and optimizing views stored procedures and functions using T-SQLFamiliar with tools that can aid with SQL profiling / Performance TuningExpertiseindatabase design complex T-SQL programming performance tuning and index analysisFacilitate discussions among database developers to exchange ideas and introduce new database technologiesA track record of commitment to prior employerPreferred QualificationsExperience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.Strongcommunication skills (to both business and technical partners)Knowledge of advanced SSIS concepts to handle complex tasks like importing large files loading data in a database etc.Whats in it for youWhen you join CoStar Group youll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
