Senior K-9 HandlerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior K-9 Handler to join the team in San Antonio TX. Boeing is looking for an experienced and motivated K9 Handler to join a team of experts focused on supporting the mission to protect company people property and information. You will utilize standard processes tools and templates required to enable a compliant and robust program. The primary focus of the program is to enable effective preparation for and efficient response to emergencies and disasters to save lives.Position Responsibilities:Protects company assets by conducting screening emergency response and K-9 training and careSweeps aircraft cargo vehicles buildings etc. for explosivesIdentifies risks and participates in processes that require integration across functionsResponds to emergency assistance requests by operating specialized tools equipment and apparatusDocuments incidents and participate in after-action reviews to meet requirements with internal/external support personnelCoordinates maintenance training for internal and external Explosives Detection Dog teamsTrains with less experienced personnel with security and/or K-9 related tasksProvides K-9 demonstrations for safety and education eventsMaintains required certifications and licensesBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Active Top Secret clearance with Special Access Required5 years of experience working with K9 Explosive DetectionCompleted an accredited K-9 Explosives Ordinance Detection CourseAbility to obtain and maintain a Texas Level 3 Security Guard LicensePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5 years of experience handling an explosive detection K9 in an operational roleCurrent CDL with Hazardous Material EndorsementDrug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
