Senior Leasing Representative at Highwoods Careers

As a Highwoods Senior Leasing Representative you will be responsible for securing prospective customers and developing relationships to secure long-term tenancy in our remarkable workplaces that inspire and support growth community and connection.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for new business development; researching prospective customers and conducting cold callsUnderstands inventory to properly answer / match inquiry calls and available spaceBuilds good working relationships with brokers and existing customersCoordinates and leads property tours for prospective customersCoordinates space planning activities between customers and architects / construction teamsUtilizes proprietary leasing analysis softwarePrepares lease proposals and reviews; negotiates lease terms with customers and brokers through executionAttends customer punch list walk-throughsAssists in preparation of annual leasing budgetsActively participates in local Commercial Real Estate organizations (NAIOP Chamber of Commerce etc.)QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES:Excellent and effective organizational and time management skillsHigh interpersonal relationship skills and strong work ethicStrong sales skillsDetail-oriented and analyticalExcellent written and oral communication skillsComputer proficiencyReal Estate License or attained within six months of hireEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Bachelors Degree required preferably in business economics or marketingMinimum of five years of experience in sales commercial leasing or property management preferredWhy Join Our TeamAt Highwoods you will be part of our people-focused culture which is a supportive environment where your growth and success are as important as that of our customers.
