Position: Litigation Attorney (Hybrid/Onsite as Needed)Location: Irvine CA 92618Type: Full-TimeSalary Range: $120000 - $200000 annuallyWhy Work With This FirmThe nations largest legal practice specializing in private and non-conventional lending.Highly regarded resource for specialty finance asset-based lending and private lending legal matters.Integrated teams across Banking & Finance Corporate & Securities and Litigation.Hosts the Fortra Conference Line providing valuable industry education and networking.Technology-forward firm focused on innovation efficiency and exceptional client service.Primary ResponsibilitiesRepresent real estate-secured lenders and creditors in litigation matters at state and federal levels.Manage cases independently from initiation through final resolution.Draft motions pleadings briefs and discovery documents with strong legal accuracy and clarity.Conduct and defend depositions.Appear in court (in-person and remote) presenting arguments confidently and effectively.Work directly with clients to develop case strategies and deliver consistent updates.Analyze complex legal challenges and develop strategic recommendations.Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams to support multi-disciplinary matters.Track billable hours and maintain detailed case records and documentation.Required Experience & Qualifications3-15 years of litigation experience (required).Prior experience representing creditors strongly preferred.Experience in real estate litigation is advantageous.Exposure to Bankruptcy or Unlawful Detainer cases is beneficial.Exceptional research writing litigation and courtroom advocacy skills.Strong communication skills with client-facing professionalism.Ability to work independently with a proactive solutions-focused mindset.Active California Bar membership (mandatory).
