They are self-starters and provide mentoring for day-to-day activities while maintaining on-going projects that may include installation maintenance testing debugging procedural documentation for their areas of expertise. Research and evaluation of new software and hardware products assisting team members and other areas with technical questions and problem resolution. Monitoring and tuning of systems software.The successful candidate would require in-depth knowledge of z/VSE components such as POWER with knowledge on setup/configuration. Detailed knowledge of support products such as FAQS Condor CA DYNAM Velocity z/VPS VTAM TCP/IP PRSM EPIC DASD and TAPE management VTS security monitoring systems experience of running z/VSE in both LPAR and under z/VM etc. Experience installing IDMS and CICS is also desired.What You Will Do:Provide thought leadership within the Global Technical Systems Business UnitProvides Technical support for hardware and software solutionsPossess communication skills to participate in client/team/Business unit meetings as well as providing documentation for client operational meetingsEnhance the performance of others through mentoring and guidingKeep abreast of changes in the standards technologies or methodologiesUpdate weekly SW dashboards/scorecardsProvide risk assessment and risk managementReview assignments for accuracy and quality where applicableFacilitate and coordinate of software releases/upgrades or large projectsCollaborate with other departments teams and clientsAdhere to completion of personnel departmental and company goalsUpgrade/maintain multiple z/VSE operating systems across diverse environmentsUpgrade/maintain additional third-party productsz/VSE tuning for capacity and throughputOn-call 24 x 7 rotation for z/VSE supportWe want all new Associates to succeed in their roles at Ensono.Thatswhyweveoutlined the job requirements below.
