Senior Manager Chief of Staff (Bank Tech)The Bank Tech Strategy & Operations team is seeking a Senior Manager to lead high-visibility CTO initiatives across the organization. These initiatives enable the organization to move more efficiently tell our story more effectively and foster exceptional talent. This person will report into the Director of CTO Operations & Governance and partner with peers and leaders across Bank Tech as an individual contributor.Responsibilities Include:Scope work and draft Product Delivery Requirements workback plans and roadmaps based on leadership visionThought-partnership on how we achieve audacious goalsConnect and bring on the right people to drive the work forwardProject manage initiatives including iterative planning monitoring delivery and producing status reports and leading routinesPrepare supporting materials and communicate (written and verbal) value of initiatives to promote Bank TechDesired Skills and Competencies:Ability to translate vision and blue sky thinking into tangible actionStrong project management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve resultsHighly-motivated accountable self-starter who can work autonomously independently takes initiative and perseveres through complex issues to achieve resultsExcellent communication and presentation skills to manage inform and influence outcomesTeam orientation with a passion for supporting teams to achieve successProven ability to build trusted effective relationships at all levels of the organizationAbility to multi-task and effectively prioritize and manage multiple prioritiesMaintain strategic mindset while providing excellent attention to detail to ensure seamless executionBeing on the Strategy & Operations team provides the opportunity for:Developing a deep understanding of the business and technology strategyInteraction with leadership and partners across the Tech organizationCollaboration and developing relationships at all levels of the organizationBasic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or Military ExperienceAt least 7 years of experience in a Project Management Operations or Chief of Staff role within the technology industry.Preferred Qualifications:Proven track record of autonomously leading and structuring projects in ambiguous or undefined spaces.Expertise in translating executive vision into concrete roadmaps measurable requirements and action plans.Proven ability to create and deliver executive-level communications that clarify complex strategies and drive stakeholder alignment.At this time Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B F-1 OPT F-1 STEM OPT F-1 CPT J-1 TN E-2 E-3 L-1 and O-1 or any EADs or other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer).The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean VA: $193000 - $220300 for Chief of StaffNew York NY: $210500 - $240300 for Chief of StaffRichmond VA: $175500 - $200300 for Chief of StaffCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
