Senior Manager, Cost Benefit Analysis & Value Realization (capital-funded)
This role will establish and scale a repeatable cost-benefit analysis (CBA) capability supporting strategic enterprise investments. The individual will accelerate the development of high-quality, defensible business cases by partnering across business, operations, analytics, finance, and technology teams to identify, quantify, validate, and communicate business value.
The candidate will operate within Enterprise Adjudication Services & Orchestration (EASO), partnering closely with product leaders, business stakeholders, finance, OGA partners, delivery teams, architects, and SMEs across multiple initiatives. This is a highly collaborative role with broad enterprise visibility and influence.
Top Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of cost-benefit analyses for strategic initiatives and capital investments.
- Establish standardized CBA frameworks, templates, methodologies, and best practices to improve consistency, speed, and credibility.
- Partner with business, operations, analytics, finance, and technology SMEs to understand processes, identify value drivers, and quantify benefits.
- Coordinate data collection, validation, and analysis activities across OGA and other supporting teams.
- Develop transparent financial models, assumptions, and benefit calculations that can withstand leadership, finance, and governance review.
- Drive aggressive project management of CBA efforts, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment and build confidence in methodology, assumptions, and projected outcomes.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and governance bodies.
- Track progress across multiple analyses simultaneously and ensure timely delivery of executive-ready recommendations.
Ideal Candidate Background
- Experience developing business cases, cost-benefit analyses, financial models, or value realization frameworks within a large, complex organization.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and the ability to translate business challenges into measurable financial outcomes.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that require significant stakeholder coordination and executive engagement.
- Healthcare, financial services, consulting, technology, or enterprise transformation experience preferred.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, finance, value realization, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to build complex financial models and quantify business value.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including experience with ROI, cost savings, productivity, and benefit realization methodologies.
- Self-driven, autonomous decision-making and the ability to think creatively to solve problems, gaps, etc.
- Exceptional project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience facilitating decisions across multiple teams with competing priorities.
- Advanced Excel, data analysis, and executive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing capital funding requests, business cases, or investment prioritization recommendations.
- Familiarity with healthcare operations, claims, prior authorization, clinical, or service operations environments.
- Experience partnering with finance organizations and governance processes.
- Consulting background or demonstrated experience building scalable frameworks and operating models.
