Your ability to adaptlearninnovate and collaborate with a dynamic team helps us provide exceptional service to our customers and communities.TheSenior Manager Cyber Security Defensivewill report into the Director Cybersecurity Operationsandis responsible forleading a technical team to analyze the cyber environment and developsecurity measures to safeguard the confidentiality integrity and availability of information.The manager will work closely with other managers across Cyber as well as partners across Technology andthe business.Responsibilities:As ahands-onworking manager the leader will focus on continuous monitoring alerting escalation and response of suspicious activitiesincluding:research indicators of compromise continuous configuration SIEM customization and logging requirements for technical assetsSupport a team of dedicated cybersecurity engineers and analysts in their responsibilitiesfor 24/7 monitoring incident response internal investigations/forensics/eDisovery and logging infrastructureManage the Security tooling (ie.EDR SIEM etc.) including overseeing the deploymentintegrationand configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutionsin accordance withindustry-leading practicesgenerallyandthe enterprises securityrequirementsspecificallyDeliver after-action facilitation and action/remediation oversightProvide development education and oversight of relevant standards procedures and playbooks for completeness and accuracy including leading tabletops and simulation exercises Security Incident Management FrameworkContinuous monitoring alerting escalation and response of suspicious activitiesProvide coaching constructive feedback workloadmanagementanddirectionto staff to ensure successful achievement of projects and initiativesDevelop procedures and guidelines to support consistent delivery of servicesConsult withcybersecurity andtechnologycolleagues to continuously evaluate and implement security solutionsCommunicate potential security concerns/exposures toappropriate leadershipCoordinate and collaborate with business organizations and other IT groups to ensure quality solutions are delivered within project timelines and tofacilitatean enterprise wide understanding of security goals tosolicitfeedback and foster cooperationMaintain up-to-date knowledge of the cyber and information securityindustryincluding awareness of new or revised security solutions improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.Ensureadequate and effective technical and non-technical controls exist to meet current and future security compliance requirements found in local state and federal laws and regulationsIdentify/recommend tools processes software and hardware tomaintainleading-edge cybersecurity capabilities.Manage supplier relationships for technology software and services including contracts roadmaps vendorsupportand performance.Requirements:5 years of experience in cybersecurity inan enterprise environmentwhichmay include some or a combination of roles in IT cyber security risk compliance audit threat detection data privacy etc.Prefer experience managing 24/7 enterprise technology or cybersecurity production environmentsExperience managing a team and/or coaching team membersExperience developing policies/procedures for security processesAbility to effectively lead Cyber discussions and initiatives and activelyparticipatein technical discussionsAbility to lead a team including mentoring coaching and motivatingprovidingan opportunity to learn and growProventrack recordof successfully managing projects with a particular emphasis on handling complex assignmentsDemonstrated history of achieving customer satisfaction by effectively managing both internal and external stakeholdersStrong relationship building skills; Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a team member and as a people managerAbility to influence peers and business stakeholdersExperience managing cybersecurity or technology operations in a highly regulated environment is a plus (e.g. GLBAHITRUSTPCIFedRAMPetc.Cyber certifications are a plus - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) etc.Work Location:This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center - 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd Midvale UT 84047The Zions Technology Center is a 400000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site the sustainably built campus is the companys primary technology and operations center.
