The company formed in 2020 through the combination of Raytheon Company and the United Technologies Corporation aerospace businesses is headquartered in Arlington VA.The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:Role Overview:The Senior Manager Cyber Solutions Architect is a high-impact individual contributor who plays a strategic and technical leadership role in delivering secure-by-design architectures across complex business-critical initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Director of CSA for RTX this role serves as a trusted architecture advisor ensuring cybersecurity and compliance are deeply embedded in enterprise solutions from design through deployment.You will drive architecture outcomes across multiple programs by influencing solution direction shaping security strategy and mentoring peers. Youll operate within a federated architecture model working closely with business digital technology and cybersecurity stakeholders. Experience working within or alongside agile teams is highly valuable as our architecture function is embedded in iterative delivery models.What You Will Do:Lead the development of secure-by-design architecture for major initiatives aligned with business goals risk posture and compliance standardsAuthor and review key architecture artifacts including Architecture Overview Documents reference patterns threat models risk analysis and secure solution frameworks.Translate security requirements into actionable architecture strategies across cloud application and infrastructure domainsInfluence early-stage solution shaping and MVP strategy aligning architecture to enterprise standards reusable patterns and digital prioritiesPartner with project and agile teams to ensure secure architectures are implemented effectivelyContribute to architecture governance processes including gated lifecycle program management processes risk management framework Agile planning business prioritization and compliance review processesProvide technical mentorship and informal leadership across a matrixed team of solution architects and engineersSupport continuous improvement of architecture processes performance metrics and reusable design frameworksQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 10 years of experience or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 7 years experience.7 years of experience in cybersecurity solution architecture or digital technology roles3 years leading architecture for enterprise-scale or business-critical programs7 years in secure system design cloud security (e.g. AWS Azure) and enterprise integrationKnowledge of networking and connectivity fundamentals (e.g. secure protocols firewalling routing ingress/egress controls)Experience applying security frameworks such as NIST 800-171/53 CMMC CIS Critical Controls or international standards such as ISO 27001Experience with agile or DevSecOps delivery models including participation in planning and refinement activities with product teamsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
