Senior Manager (Events & Lead Generation) at 1-800 Hansons LLC
JOB DESCRIPTION
Build Something That Didn’t Exist Before
HANSONS has been a top home improvement company for 35+ years and we’re not done growing. We’re building an owned, scalable lead generation engine powered by events, retail activations, and canvassing, and we need the right person to build and run it.
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to manage an existing program. This is a ground-floor opportunity to design the system, build the teams, and own the results across multiple markets nationwide.
The Role
As Senior Manager (Events & Lead Generation), you’ll be responsible for creating a repeatable, scalable field lead generation channel that delivers qualified demo appointments directly to our sales teams. You’ll partner with General Managers to hire and develop market-level Program Coordinators, build the playbook, and drive performance across every market you touch.
The outcome: a fully owned channel that consistently produces high-quality leads, reduces reliance on third-party marketing, and becomes a core growth driver for Hansons nationally.
What We Offer
- $90,000–$110,000 base salary
- 30% annual bonus opportunity tied to performance
- Weekly pay via direct deposit
- Health benefits at 30 days (medical, dental, vision, life, and more)
- 401k with company match at 90 days
- Paid time off with unlimited rollover
- Holiday pay eligible immediately
- Clear path to senior leadership as the program scales
- Presidents Club trips and incentive opportunities
- Employee and Friends & Family discounts
What You’ll Do
Design the Playbook
- Build the Hansons Events & Canvassing Playbook from the ground up - scripts, SOPs, frameworks, and appointment-setting systems
- Define success metrics (HPD, set rate, cost per lead, demo volume) and build reporting to track them
Own the Markets
- Partner with GMs to hire and develop Program Coordinators at the market level
- Launch 3–5 pilot markets in Year 1 with fully functioning, performance-driven teams
- Maintain consistency across markets while optimizing locally
Build & Develop Teams
- Build scalable recruiting systems for part-time event staff and canvassers
- Train, certify, and coach Program Coordinators; hold them accountable to outcomes
- Create onboarding and development pathways that scale as we grow
Drive Performance & Accountability
- Own KPIs across the channel: leads generated, demos set, cost per lead, and cost of marketing
- Run weekly accountability rhythms with GMs and Coordinators
- Continuously optimize based on data and field performance
Think Nationally, Execute Locally
- Develop event and territory strategies that align with ideal customer profiles
- Build infrastructure and systems to support national expansion
- Manage market-level budgets and reallocate resources toward highest-performing channels
Who We’re Looking For
- A proven builder - you’ve created scalable systems and programs, not just managed existing ones
- Experience leading field teams, canvassing operations, or multi-market event programs
- Strong operator with high standards, accountability, and a bias toward execution
- Data-driven - you know your numbers and use them to make decisions
- A talent developer who recruits, trains, and builds high-performing teams
- Comfortable operating at all levels - working alongside GMs, sales leaders, and executives
- Experience in canvassing, field marketing, direct sales leadership, or home improvement strongly preferred
What Success Looks Like in Year 1
- 3–5 pilot markets launched with functioning teams and consistent demo production
- A clear, adopted company-wide playbook in place
- Cost of marketing at or trending toward 12%
- Scalable recruiting and training systems operational
- A strong Program Coordinator bench that can sustain growth
Schedule & Travel
Full-time. This is a multi-market, national role. Regular travel is required to launch and support markets, conduct field visits, and partner with GMs. If you’re looking for a desk job, this isn’t it. If you want to build something real and see the results in the field - keep reading.
