Senior Manager, IT Strategy & Transformation at Western Digital

Role OverviewThe Senior Manager of the Transformation Office is responsible for driving the three core capabilities that ensure Western Digitals IT organization executes its strategy effectively:Strategy EnablementIntake & PrioritizationPortfolio Management & ReportingThis role serves as the operational engine behind strategic planning governance and initiative oversight. The leader in this position ensures that IT investments are aligned to strategic priorities that new ideas are assessed consistently and that the overall portfolio delivers measurable outcomes with transparency and accountability.Key Responsibilities1. Strategy EnablementPartner with the CIO Chief of Staff and Strategy leads to translate business objectives into IT strategic priorities outcomes and measurable success criteria (OKRs).Support development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the multi-year IT roadmap.Maintain alignment between strategic pillars IT capabilities and the initiatives proposed or underway.Ensure initiative owners understand strategic intent and how their work maps to ITs long-term plan.2. Intake & PrioritizationManage the end-to-end intake process for new ideas and proposed initiatives.Standardize evaluation criteria (business case strategic alignment resource needs OKRs).Facilitate decision-making forums and ensure decisions (approve / defer / reject) are documented and communicated.Work with finance HR and engineering leaders to validate feasibility capacity and funding availability.Maintain a transparent view of all incoming requests and in-flight initiatives.3.
