Senior Quality ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Quality Manager (Level L) to join our Composite Manufacturing Center (CMC) team based in Puyallup Washington.The Senior Quality Manager will lead the Fabrication Quality Composites team and integrate quality assurance activities across multiple Fabrication and Manufacturing Business Units. Driving datadriven decisions and corrective actions to reduce defects strengthen production quality and ensure strict regulatory and operational compliance.The selected candidate will provide transformational leadership to implement Quality Improvement initiativesusing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Six Sigma and One Boeing Production System principleswhile championing advanced process oversight new technologies and resilient change management in a regulated manufacturing environment.Position Responsibilities: Manages employees and first-level managers performing management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families.Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports.Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managersBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5 years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Quality or experience in a regulated industry.5 years of experience in a leadership role leading teams initiatives or projects that demonstrated improvement to cost and quality and the ability to influence change5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.5 years of experience in communicating and/or coaching operators peers and leadership on various aspects of a quality system (associated with engineering operations or quality)3 years of experience with organizational and team building skills performed in a cross-functional environment.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree in related fieldExperience in Lean manufacturing six sigma and structured problem-solvingExperience interacting with Regulatory agencies and processesExperience with industry approaches to quality improvementProcess Oversight methods and advanced product verification methodsExperience utilizing Quality Management Systems (QMS)Drug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards & Pay:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
