Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Via, Inc.

We're looking for an experienced hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on solving real production problems-not just designing from a desk. If you enjoy being on the floor, driving change, and seeing the direct impact of your work, this role is built for you. At Via Seating, you'll take ownership of engineering changes, improve processes in real time, and play a key role in driving quality, efficiency, and cost improvements across our manufacturing operations. What You'll Do: • Own the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process end-to-end-from initiation through implementation • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions that stick • Improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and production efficiency • Develop and maintain BOMs, routings, and engineering documentation • Create and update build instructions and standard work • Partner closely with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams on the floor • Work with suppliers to improve component quality and manufacturability What You Bring: • 5+ years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience • Strong SolidWorks skills • Experience with BOMs, routings, and ERP/MRP systems • Proven track record of implementing engineering changes in a production environment • Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma a plus) What Makes This Role Different: • High ownership-you don't just recommend solutions, you implement them • Strong floor presence-this is not a desk-only engineering role • Direct impact on production performance, quality, and cost • Cross-functional visibility and collaboration Location & Work Environment: This is an on-site, safety sensitive role based in Sparks, NV, with regular time spent on the manufacturing floor.
