You may review modify or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions the Marketing Copywriter will craft compelling results-driven copies that drive customer engagement conversions and retention. This role will collaborate with marketing strategists data analysts and creative teams to develop compelling personalized data-driven messaging that resonates with target audiences. This role will utilize addressable media including direct mail email and next-best-action (NBA) direct response campaigns to reach consumers.Primary ResponsibilitiesWrites and edits high-performing compliant copy for direct mail email and next-best-action (NBA) campaigns promoting banking and financial services products (e.g. checking savings credit cards loans wealth management)Adapts procedures and processes to enhance the media creation and distribution processEstablishes critical strategic and operational goalsHandles complex problems as they ariseLeverages customer segmentation and behavioral data to tailor messaging for different audiencesEnsures copy aligns with brand voice regulatory requirements (FDIC CFPB etc.) and best practices for financial services marketingCollaborates with strategy teams to enhance personalization and dynamic content strategiesWorks closely with designers to ensure copy and creative work together seamlesslyStays updated on banking and financial industry trends compliance updates and direct response best practicesMentors coaches and trains junior team membersThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsBachelors degree in English Journalism Marketing Communications or a related field and eight (8) years of direct response copywriting experience preferably in banking fintech or financial servicesOr High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of professional experience in marketingPreferencesProven success in direct mail email marketing and next-best-action (NBA) campaignsStrong understanding of customer journey mapping segmentation and data-driven personalizationFamiliarity with financial services compliance (e.g. Reg E Reg DD UDAAP) and ability to write clear legally sound disclosuresExperience with CRM platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud HubSpot) and marketing automation tools is a plusSkills and CompetenciesA/B test messaging to optimize performance and response rates CTRs and conversion metricsAbility to analyze performance metrics and refine copy based on resultsExcellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teamsExcellent direct response writing and editing skillsExcellent time management skillsExcellent verbal written communication and organizational skillsExperience working with and adhering to content style guides (e.g. AP style)Keen attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy at each deliverable stageProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook etc.)Experience in film video and television production preferred.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
