We are searching for aSenior Marketing Director of Innovation to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest IL.ResponsibilitiesYour Role:We are looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial leader to launch innovation through brand extensions into new categories.You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!Strategic VisionIdentify whitespace opportunities / categories where existing RCP brands can grow.Lead consumer research to identify new product opportunities and to guide new product strategic definition and innovation pipeline.Build business cases to support recommendations.Partner with M&A team on identification of new growth platforms that compliment organic brand extensions.Portfolio IdentificationFinalize product portfolio.Scout and vet suppliers.Negotiate terms (quality cost delivery).Align with Sourcing and Supply Chain teams.Work with Finance on P&L developmentCross-Functional Leadership Collaborate closely with consumer insights marketing omni commerce and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies.Work with RGM team to recommend pricing and promo strategies.Ensure readiness across sourcing packaging supply chain and sales operations.Commercialization & ExecutionDevelops and executes brand strategies for new product portfolio ensuring a consistent and compelling brand identity in the market.Defines enterprise-level KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate success and impact of new initiatives.Monitor post-launch performance and continuously optimize to deliver on set KPIs.You will love it here ifYou put safety first always.You listen learn and evolve.You are passionate about collaboration teamwork and achieving shared goals.You treat all people with respect operating ethically and embrace inclusivity.You are committed to improving our impact on local communities.QualificationsWe need you to have:BA/BS degree in MarketingBusinessor related field.12 years of related professional and progressive product development experience in the CPG industry with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management roleProven track record of launching profitable and sustainable product innovation.Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.Experience with consumer research methodologies and a New Product Stage Gate Process.Excellent business acumen with experience managing budgets/P&L.Strong analytical leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions.Experience working with co-manufacturers.Proficiency with retailer scan data analysis programs such as Nielsen or IRI.Ability to travel.If you answer yes to the followingwe want to meet you!Intellectual Curiosity: Do you have an inquisitive natureProblem Solving: Do you have a knack for tackling issues head-onEntrepreneurship: Do you enjoy taking ownership of your workCustomer Centricity: Do you always act in the best interests of the customer putting their needs firstGrowth Mindset: Do you focus on progress rather than perfectionContinuous Improvement: Are you never satisfied with the status quoWant to know more Check out our website or connect with us on LinkedInApply today to join a fast-growing innovative company!
