Senior Manufacturing ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to be a part of the Fabrication Composites leadership team in Puyallup Washington.A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability trust teamwork quality and safety.Position Responsibilities:Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplinesDevelops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals and objectivesAcquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processesManages develops and motivates employees and first-level managersBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing3 years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse manufacturing teams initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence changeProficiency with Microsoft office tool suitePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3 years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety compliance quality and cost3 years of experience in lean processes and initiatives3 years of experience in coaching guiding and mentoring teams3 years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environmentShift:This is a 2nd shift role there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards: At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
