The Senior Material Representative will support material handling automation initiatives. This includes learning basic robotics assisting with implementation day-to-day support opportunity identification and expansion.PositionSenior Materials Representative -AGV Technician (2nd Shift)LocationUSA Louisville KYHow Youll Create PossibilitiesPrepare and organize area for robot implementationWork with leadership and associates in affected areas for effective change management.Assist in identification of improvements for current robots and future robotsProblem solve any issues that may arise and document solutionsAttend to the robotsCommunicate effectively to key stakeholders issues that arise resulting in disruptions due to the robotMaintain lessons learned documentationVerify preventative maintenance activities are being conductedUpdate path segments as facility changes degrade navigation confidenceWork directly with plant operations to perform training communicate changes and collect feedback as needed regarding robots in active use Study the different types of robots and understand how they functionWork with counterparts at other facilities to establish best practicesLearn and apply robot programming skills.What Youll Bring to Our TeamPosition Requirements:Associates degree or 5 years of relevant experienceAbility to communicate effectively take initiative & be organizedSchedule flexibility as duties and hours may change based on the needs of the businessExperience using Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word etc.) writing Work Orders and Purchase RequestsLicense and ability to operate forkliftPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in engineering or 10 years of materials operation experienceWorking experience in material flow and roboticsKnowledge of systemsSeegrid/Milvus softwareMaterial handlingExcelBasic programming conceptsAbility to be a robotic specialistAttention to detail with analytical and organizational skillsOur CultureOur work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&D).
