Together we are EXP.Are you ready to design your futureBe our nextProject ManagerYour work environment at EXPIn this role you will be a part of theMEPteam for Hospitality and Gaming projects based in Glendale California (Los Angeles) San Diego or Las Vegas NV office.What a day at EXP has in store for youIdentify research and qualify RFP/ RFQs and upcoming projects for go/no go potentialDirect and lead submittals in response to RFP/ RFQs.Manage existing and develop new client relationshipsPerform at a responsible charge level; meeting exps design and quality levelsManage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hoursWork with project team and clients to meet scheduled project milestones on multiple projectsApply risk management procedures daily to minimize exps and clients exposure to problemsUnderstand MEP/FP work planning and manage design process to the available hours in work planUnderstand proper scope of MEP/FP SD DD CD level documents and deliver appropriate documentationCoordinates with other disciplines (MEP/FP architectural structural etc)Edit and develop scope of work narratives (SD narrative basis of design etc)Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phasesThorough knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical codesAdvanced equipment selection and analysis(generators UPS units chillers boilers)Be able to direct and mentor designer level staff on all of their responsibilities on a daily basisQA/QC reviews of all calculations by designers and provide guidance and mentoringWhat your experience looks likeBachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program10 years of building HVAC or Electrical design experienceRegistered Professional Engineer in State of California preferred but not required.The pay range for this role is $110000to $160000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location.
