Senior Mechanical Engineer at GCR Professional Services

Senior Mechanical Engineer:This role drives the development of advanced robotic and electromechanical systems for next-generation products. The engineer will lead feasibility work, perform detailed design and analysis, create mechanical models, support prototype builds, and guide products through introduction. Key Responsibilities Design machine elements and precision mechanisms Analyze components for stress, life, and deflection using appropriate tools Develop 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs (SolidWorks preferred) Present designs and analysis results to technical teams Required Experience 10+ years in mechanical engineering Background in precision robotics or mechanisms, ideally within the semiconductor industry Experience with UHV (ultra high vacuum) compatible designs Hands-on work with prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis Other Requirements Approximately 20% travel to local, domestic, and international suppliers Education BS in Mechanical Engineering Compensation $120,000 – $175,000 It is the policy of GCR to provide equal opportunity to all qualified applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran or disabled status, or genetic information.
