Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for leading engineering projects supporting strategic and KPI goals contributing to proposals overseeing project scope schedule and fee and ensuring effective resources are assigned to projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills technical expertise and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This role includes performing mechanical and plumbing engineering technical work on complex projects with a focus on building HVAC plumbing and plant system design mentoring staff applying proficiency in designing analyzing and reviewing MEP systems to ensure safety sustainability and compliance with industry Woolperts engineering team means becoming part of a dynamic and supportive environment where growth and creativity are not just encouraged but are integral to the teams success and Woolperts broader mission.ResponsibilitiesEssential FunctionsAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Woolpert you will:Lead mechanical and plumbing engineering technical work for complex projects.Track project progress including scope schedule and fee.Oversee technical review and provide high quality deliverables.Develop and modify models plans details and drawings of mechanical and plumbing engineering systems and components according to established standards and modeling techniques.Perform energy modeling load calculations and LCCA analysis using modeling software and techniques.Perform mechanical and plumbing design for various systems including plant design fuel piping steam boilers/chillers geothermal manufacturing and storage facilities and other commercial building practice areas.
