Senior Paralegal - Boutique Personal Injury Firm at Bridgeline Solutions
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a boutique, fast-paced Plaintiff's Personal Injury law firm, is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and autonomous Senior Paralegal with 5 to 10+ years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation.
In this dual-functioning role, you will lead our case management efforts from intake through trial preparation while overseeing light office administration duties to ensure daily operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative, small-firm environment and possesses the seasoned judgment to manage complex caseloads independently.
Core Responsibilities
Legal & Litigation Support
- Case Management: Oversee pre-litigation and litigation files, managing the lifecycle of catastrophic injury, motor vehicle accident, and premises liability cases.
- Drafting & Pleadings: Prepare summons and complaints, bills of particulars, discovery requests/responses, motions, and proposed orders.
- Medical Records Management: Direct the collection, organization, and summarization of comprehensive medical records, billing, and lien information.
- Trial Preparation: Assemble trial notebooks, coordinate expert witness schedules, draft exhibit lists, and prepare subpoenas.
- Calendar & Deadline Ownership: Maintain the firm's master litigation calendar, tracking crucial court deadlines, depositions, and statutes of limitations.
- Client & Adverse Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and defense counsel.
- Light Office Management: Administrative Coordination and Workflow Optimization
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10+ years of active experience as a paralegal specifically within Plaintiff Personal Injury law. Experience in a small-to-midsize firm is highly preferred.
- Education/Certification: Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or a Bachelor's degree is a plus, but equivalent field experience is heavily valued.
- Tech-Savviness: Deep proficiency with mainstream legal case management software, cloud-based filing ecosystems (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), and electronic court filing portals (e-filing).
- Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, masterful organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and a firm grasp of civil practice rules.
A great opportunity to join a collaborative team with a great firm.
