Senior Portfolio Manager

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to support the Neurovascular Upstream Marketing team.

This role is hybrid in Fremont, CA. What you will do:

  1. Gather and collate competitive information to drive insights
  2. Anticipate the needs of customers and patients and create a superior value proposition
  3. Obtain insights by leveraging key opinion leaders
  4. Understand customers and optimizes value proposition
  5. Analyze the validity and reliability of market research results. Understand statistical significance and basic hypothesis testing.
  6. Effectively use and interpret qualitative and quantitative research
  7. Utilize market research and third-party data to identify key industry trends
  8. Collaborate cross-departmentally to lead the new product development (NPDP) process
  9. Understand new product development process and its effect on the business
  10. Build financial business case model to support new product development funding and product return on investment
  11. Responsible for delivering the business objective, marketing objective and leading the discovery process for the pre-commercialization plan
  12. Leverage core competencies and the strategic assets of the organization to maximize new product development and launch planning
  13. Partner with Clinical Affairs to propose research objectives for evidence generation (Clinical studies, research papers, etc.)
  14. Partner with Product Marketing to develop a publication and messaging strategy that aligns with clinical evidence
  15. Understand the costs of acquiring new customers vs. retaining current customers
  16. Understand how to target customers based off of total market potential and opportunity
  17. Understand potential sources of new volume within current customer segment or outside of the current segment and the financial tradeoffs for pursuing each
  18. Lead the development of sales tools and channel communication.
  19. Understand and predict sales trends in the market
  20. Research key factors, measurements and variables used in forecasting
  21. Execute a product lifecycle management (PLCM) plan as it relates to the overall business and launch strategy
  22. Develop contingency plans in the event of a supply chain interruption
  23. Create and communicate a value proposition
  24. Develop pricing consistent with the Marketing Strategy and brand positioning
  25. Develop new marketing channels and tools
  26. Define performance criteria used for evaluating business trends and activities

What you will need:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree required, 6+ years of work experience required
  • Preferred: MBA preferred, 3+ years medical device or marketing experience preferred, Upstream marketing experience preferred, Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills preferred

United States of America Pay Ranges:

  • USN: $102,600 - $171,000 USD Annual
  • US5: $107,700 - $179,600 USD Annual
  • US10: $112,900 - $188,100 USD Annual
  • US15: $118,000 - $196,600 USD Annual
  • US20: $123,100 - $205,200 USD Annual
  • US30: $133,400 - $222,300 USD Annual
