This role combines deep troubleshooting expertise with proactive solution design, helping customers achieve reliable, scalable, and high‑performance data ecosystems. Develop a complete understanding of customer end-to-end data ecosystems, including Databases, object stores, file systems, and streaming platforms, ETL/ELT tools, BI platforms, governance frameworks, and AI/ML environments. Drive initiatives that elevate customer experience, platform stability, and long‑term successYou Will:Lead investigation and resolution of high‑severity, multi‑layer incidents involving infrastructure, Kubernetes, data engines, storage, networking, and system integrationsProvide solution recommendations related to performance tuning, resiliency, data availability and recovery, configuration design, and integration best practicesAct as a technical bridge between Customer Support, Product Management, and R&DEscalate product defects, influence roadmap decisions, and translate customer issues into actionable product improvementsIdentify recurring patterns, systemic risks, and opportunities for optimizationTake the First Step Toward Your Dream CareerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:Essential Requirements12 to 15 years of related experienceStrong root case analysis mindset, comfortable working backward from symptoms to underlying cause under time pressureAn agentic-first mindset, demonstrating proficiency in leveraging advanced AI tools such as Cursor and Claude, and integrating autonomous agents into the development workflowAI/Data Engineering:Experience with distributed data processing frameworks and data lakehouse architectures. Python development, working with datasets, and AI/ML modelsDatabase Expertise: Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data pipelines, Elasticsearch, MS SQL, MongoDBDevOps & Infrastructure: Cloud platforms, Kubernetes, observability/log pipelines, library and runtime environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication. Be able to explain complex technical issues clearly to customersDesirable RequirementsBachelor’s degree or related experienceStarburst or Trino experienceExperience with observability/monitoring tools for data pipelines (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus)Compensation: Dell is committed to Fair and Equitable compensation practices.
