Senior Process Engineering Technician at Coherent

DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities Release WIP from hold. Execute OCAP following process specification. Execute engineering experiment per instruction from engineer. Train/certify operators and other process technicians Write / Proof-read process specification. Monitoring and analysis of SPC and process data stream. Modify/create process recipes. Design/execute engineering experiment and analyze data to generate conclusions.Education & ExperienceRequired Minimum EducationNo DiplomaHigh School Diploma or equivalentCollege Course work or equivalent2 Year college degree (Associate or equivalent)4 Year college degree (Bachelor or equivalent)Post-graduate degree or equivalentExpected Minimum Years of Related ExperienceLess than 1 year2 years4 years6 years8 years10 yearsSkillsKnowledge of general semiconductor wafer processing and engineering practicesIn-depth knowledge of unit processSEM experience is a plusKnowledge of engineering statisticsGood written/oral communication skillsFluency in MS Office suite as well as JMP or other statistics softwareWorking ConditionsWill be exposed to areas where hand tools and power tools are being operatedWill be exposed to areas where hazardous chemicals or gases are storedAbility to work in a cleanroom environment per semi-conductor protocol/requirementsPhysical RequirementsWork in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periodsWear full cleanroom attire (smock mask etc.)Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids)Stand for up to 4 hours at a timeLift up to 16-30 PoundsPush/Pull up to 16-30 poundsSit for up to 4 hours at a timeSafety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
