Senior Procurement Manager Vertical Lift (Level M)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Sr. Procurement Manager to support the Vertical Lift Team in Ridley Park PA!Position Responsibilities: Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreementsManages employees and mid-level managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations supplier assessment and performance improvement management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and small business subcontractingDevelops and executes integrated organizational plans policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies goals and objectivesAcquires resources for organizational activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processesProvides oversight regarding negotiation strategies processes and related tools. Manages develops and motivates employees and mid-level managersBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3 years of experience in a leadership role3 years of experience demonstrating people management skills to include coaching teaching mentoringexperience in supply chain or materials managementexperience working directly with executives or senior leadersexperience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teamsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience working with government with negotiations or audit experienceSupply Chain contractingBachelors DegreeDefense industry experienceDrug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
