Rippling No longer available

Job Description

Senior Product Marketing Manager, HR (Hybrid based in SF or NY)

You will be based in our SF or NYC office and will be required to be in office 3x/week.

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365-all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world's top investors-including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock-and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent addresses.

About the role

Scaling to $1B ARR and beyond requires building a go to market engine that drives growth across dozens of product SKUs, sales segments, buyer personas, and countries. That's where you come in.

Rippling's growth engine isn't just driven by new customers-it's powered by helping our existing customers realize the full value of our unified platform. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you'll be the connective tissue between Marketing and Account Management, helping our customer teams identify, shape, and deliver compelling cross sell and retention conversations. You'll translate customer and sales insights into crisp messaging, decks, and playbooks that help Account Managers tell a cohesive, multi product story. You'll proactively spot opportunities for expansion and ensure the field is equipped with the right tools and narratives to act on them.

You'll build and scale the "plays" that help AMs succeed at every stage of the customer lifecycle-from renewal and expansion motions to executive briefings and multi product storytelling. You'll ensure our value delivery is consistent, current, and compelling so that every lifecycle moment and conversation turn into meaningful business impact.

This role is highly cross functional. You will work closely with Rippling's Product organization, our Sales teams, and the rest of our Marketing machine. We'd love to talk to you if you are a compelling storyteller, obsess about customers, and love rolling up your sleeves to get into the weeds.

What you will do
  • Partner across Sales and Marketing and to identify, define, and launch cross sell plays tied to customer signals and product adoption insights.
  • Create and continuously update a library of value delivery assets (decks, talk tracks, renewal materials, 1 pagers, etc.) that account managers can deploy across various lifecycle plays.
  • Build and refine multi product storytelling frameworks that demonstrate the power of Rippling's unified platform.
  • Ensure AMs are equipped to deliver value in every meeting through training, enablement sessions, and playbooks.
  • Maintain a fast feedback loop between field teams and Marketing to identify new opportunities, gaps, and content needs.
  • Track the performance of plays and assets, using data to iterate on what drives engagement and expansion pipeline.
What you will need
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or a related GTM role in B2B SaaS.
  • Proven ability to translate customer insights and signals into compelling narratives and sales plays.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills-you can craft content that resonates with executives and practitioners alike and can tell a story without resorting to jargon.
  • Excellent project management and cross functional collaboration; comfortable orchestrating input from multiple teams.
  • You pride yourself in making the impossible possible. You are resourceful, a quick learner, have a bias towards action, and get energy juggling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • You are results oriented and evidence driven. You say the truth even when it's inconvenient and admit what you don't know.
  • A creative spark. While analytical chops are critical to your success, we also pride ourselves on being able to think outside the box.
  • You sweat the details - small and big, alike.
