Job DescriptionPosition Senior Python DeveloperLocation Austin TXDuration 6 months Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop: Build and maintain high-performance scalable and reliable Pythonmicroservices for our core event-driven platform.Event-Driven Architecture: Build and manage real-time data pipelines using Kafka tohandle asynchronous communication between the API Gateway Event Orchestratorand various backend fulfillment systems.Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy manage and scale applications onKubernetes focusing on best practices for resilience observability and CI/CD.Conversational Logic: Implement and enhance the core routing logic that parsesuser intent and directs tasks to the appropriate backend whether its a third-party IVAan internal model or a human-in-the-loop escalation path.System Integration: Collaborate with teams managing APIs databases (PersistenceDB) and fulfillment systems to ensure seamless and robust integrations.Monitoring & Analytics: Instrument services for comprehensive monitoring loggingand tracing using tools like Splunk Prometheus and Grafana to guarantee systemhealth and performance.Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)Python Expertise: 5 years of professional software development experience withexpert-level proficiency in Python including deep knowledge of frameworks likeFastAPI Flask or Django.Kafka Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or similar eventstreaming platforms including a solid understanding of topics partitions producersand consumers.Nice to haveMicroservices & API Design: Proven experience building complex scalable backendsystems microservices and RESTful APIs.Kubernetes & Docker: Solid practical experience with containerization using Dockerand deploying and managing applications in a Kubernetes environment (writingmanifests using Helm etc.).Software Engineering Fundamentals: Strong foundation in data structuresalgorithms and system design principles.Please send your 3-4 page resume to Gary at Required Experience:Senior IC Key Skills APIs,Docker,Jenkins,REST,Python,AWS,NoSQL,MySQL,JavaScript,Postgresql,Django,GIT Employment Type : Contract Experience: years Vacancy: 1
