Senior Quality Control Specialist at EOI Space

EOI Space is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with strong experience in quality control and configuration management to help ensure mission-critical hardware is built to the highest standards.What you will do:In this role you will support the full lifecycle of spacecraft hardware development by defining and implementing quality plans ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 and maintaining controlled and accurate product configurations. You will work closely with engineering manufacturing and supply chain teams to verify hardware maintain documentation accuracy and uphold configuration control across our PLM/ERP systems. Your work will directly contribute to delivering high-quality spacecraft and ground systems for our mission.Responsibilities:Develop and implement Quality Control plans in accordance with standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001Establish standards for quality including inspection testing and evaluation methodsPerform first article qualifications and conduct failure investigations to drive resolutionWork with manufacturing to establish process capability and ensure quality standards are metMaintain and update product structures BOMs and engineering drawings to reflect the latest approved configurationImplement and manage change control processes for requirements design documents and manufacturing parametersIdentify Configuration Items (CIs) define their functional and physical characteristics and ensure formal control over themManage and control the accuracy and integrity of manufacturing data and documentationUse PLM and ERP systems (like PTC Arena or NetSuite) to manage and control product dataEnsure product serialization and maintain as-built configuration recordsDevelop training documentation for configuration management procedures and systemsRequired Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Engineering (Aerospace Mechanical Industrial or a related field)8 years of experience in quality engineering within a highly regulated industry (aerospace defense medical device etc.)Demonstrated experience with quality management systems like AS9100 and ISO 9001Experience with PDM/PLM systems like PTC Arena and ERP systems like NetSuiteProficiency with engineering drawings BOMs and drafting standardsUnderstanding of systems engineering quality management systems and configuration management principlesFamiliarity with software configuration managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication collaboration and documentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesProfessional certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black BeltKnowledge of specific special processes related to spacecraft manufacturing such as welding soldering and bondingEligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance and compliance with U.S. ITAR regulationsCompensation:The salary range for this role is $110000 - $140000 per year depending on previous experience. Pay ranges are determined by role level location and alignment with market data. Individual pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate job-related skills relevant education and experience certifications abilities of the candidate and internal equity.Work Location:This is an onsite role to be located in Louisville CO.
