The qualified candidate would be responsible for assisting with maintenance inspection oversight of Maintenance Engineering & Inspection (MEI) projects.This role will sit within the larger Global Mobility Business Area. We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change urbanization and digitization trends are requiring todays mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the worlds growing population. We design connected sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies and optimize the mobility of people and goods.Role accountabilities:Responsible for MEI team members schedules and workload assignments while coordinating with clients managementIdentification of maintenance issues and creating work list and putting together Invitation To Bid (ITB) packages for identified maintenance needsMaintenance Training throughout the State of GeorgiaOverseeing and conducting maintenance inspections on roadway projects in accordance with clients adapted procedures and policies.Providing maintenance inspection services for conformance to Plans and Specifications for all roadway structures and specialty items.Observing measures and recording quantities for contractor payment.Reviewing traffic control as required or requested.Responsible for ongoing maintenance work throughout your assigned area through constant communication with active contractorsQualifications & Experience:Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent:Minimum 15 years experience on roadway or maintenance inspectionInspection work may require to work days nights and weekends with little advanced notice.Inspection work may require some time working in an office or field setting.Inspection work may require inspections across multiple projects and/or clients at any given time.Preferred Qualifications20 years experience on roadway or site construction inspectionWhy ArcadisWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
