We provide market participants with immediate access to granular T1 order book data and advanced analytics enabling them to accelerate research optimise trading strategies and better understand market behaviour.BMLL was acquired in 2025 by Nordic Capital alongside minority shareholder Optiver marking a joint commitment to accelerate the companys next phase of growth.For more information visit our website or follow us on X (@bmlltech) and LinkedIn @BMLL.About the Role:We are looking for a high-energy commercially driven Senior Sales Director - primarily focused on Hedge Funds to join our rapidly scaling FinTech this role you will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth by acquiring new hedge fund clients and expanding relationships across the broader buy-side ecosystem.You will leverage your deep understanding of hedge fund workflows and your proven track record selling enterprise-grade solutions to articulate how BMLLs unique data and analytics platform can transform trading research and risk operations.This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious market-savvy salesperson to join a company at the forefront of financial data innovation and to make an immediate measurable impact.Key Responsibilities: Drive new revenue growth by identifying prospecting and converting hedge funds and other sophisticated market participants.Build trusted senior-level relationships with portfolio managers quants traders and technologists across target organizations.Conduct rigorous research and discovery to deeply understand client strategies pain points data needs and competitive landscape.Develop and deliver high-impact demos and presentations that clearly communicate BMLLs value proposition and differentiate us in the marketplace.Partner with marketing to refine and evolve sales collateral whitepapers case studies and product storytelling that support the sales cycle.Actively manage pipeline forecasting and account activity in the CRM to ensure transparency and execution discipline.Own the full commercial lifecycle from initial engagement through contract negotiation onboarding and long-term account growth.Maintain a pulse on market structure trends regulatory shifts competitor offerings and hedge fund demand evolution to help guide commercial strategy.RequirementsAt least 5 years experience selling into Hedge Funds CTAs Multi-Managers or systematic trading firms.Demonstrated success closing enterprise deals with sophisticated financial clients.Deep understanding of how hedge funds use market data analytics TCA execution metrics and research tools.Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex data capabilities into clear compelling commercial narratives.A proactive self-directed operator who thrives in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.Ability to collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to relay client feedback and inform future innovationWorks proactively with US and London colleagues ensuring best practices are shared and consistently applied across teamsBenefits25 days PTO selected public holidaysRemote working with in-person team days in NYC as requiredPrivate Medical Insurance401(k)Work-abroad optionAnnual physical activity & well-being budgetContinuous learning through funded training and challenging projectsHighly collaborative cultureRequired Experience:Director Key Skills Business Development,Sales Experience,Direct Sales,Marketing,SAAS,Hotel Experience,Management Experience,Revenue Management,Salesforce,Sales Management,Enterprise Sales,negotiation Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Sales Experience: years Vacancy: 1
