Job Title:Senior ScientistJob Description:Position Description:Senior Scientist for Entegris Inc. Ambler PA. Work as a chemist on the Research and Development team; Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary technical team to ensure safe reliable and cost-effective technology development and transfer; Develop cost-effective safe and scalable synthetic routes for new products; Synthesize organic ligands and organic/organometallic products consisting of phosphorus silicon and other main-group/transition metals; Use design of experiment methodologies and tools to effectively and efficiently generate results that lead to valid conclusions; Support non-linear scale-ups which include addressing reaction kinetics chemical equilibriums materials compatibility fluid dynamics thermodynamics and mixing; Document experiments and results in an electronic laboratory notebook; Prepare summary presentations for internal team meetings business updates and customers; Collaborate with peers and on cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives; Performs general maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment according to the departments established calibration program.Job Requirements: PhD in Chemistry with 2 years experience as a scientist or chemist.Requires 2 years experience with: both classic and modern bench-scale inorganic/organometallic chemistry synthetic techniques; handling air-sensitive materials (i.e. using Schlenk lines and anaerobic glove boxes); interpreting analytical results such as NMR GC GC-MS HPLC etc. MS Office and SciFinder; proper safe handling/disposal of chemicals; and application of H&S principles in a laboratory environment.#LI-DNIRequired Experience:Senior IC Key Skills Laboratory Experience,Mammalian Cell Culture,Biochemistry,Assays,Protein Purification,Research Experience,Next Generation Sequencing,Research & Development,cGMP,Cell Culture,Molecular Biology,Flow Cytometry Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
