Were looking for leaders who are passionate about building teams driving customer success and helping organizations modernize their security operations.The OpportunityAs a Security Sales Engineering Manager for North America youll lead a team of Security Sales Engineers supporting Datadogs Security business across enterprise and strategic accounts. Your team will partner with Sales to drive technical wins deliver exceptional customer experiences and grow adoption of Datadogs Cloud Security Platform.Youll play a critical role in scaling our pre-sales organization coaching your team to understand customer challenges architect secure solutions and demonstrate how Datadog provides unified visibility across observability and security. Youll also work cross-functionally with Product Marketing and Customer Success to influence strategy and accelerate our Security go-to-market motion.What Youll DoLead coach and grow a team of Specialist Security Sales Engineers across North AmericaOptimize the utilization and alignment of Security Sales Engineers to strategic opportunities in an overlay role driving collaboration and technical excellence alongside core account teamsLead and coordinate Security Sales Engineering efforts in partnership with the North America Enterprise Security Sales teamsPartner with Sales Leadership to align technical strategies with revenue goalsOversee customer engagements from discovery and architecture reviews to proof-of-concept successEstablish best practices for demos evaluations and technical enablementCollaborate with Product Management and Engineering to provide real-world feedback from the fieldRepresent Datadogs security value proposition in customer and executive meetingsSupport hiring onboarding and scaling efforts as Datadogs Security business expands across the regionTravel periodically for team meetings customer visits and events (approximately 25%)Who You Are5 years in a technical pre-sales or security engineering role with 2 years in a leadership or management positionStrong technical knowledge across cloud security (AWS Azure GCP) DevSecOps and application security domainsExperienced in SIEM CSPM CNAPP and threat detection technologiesExcellent communicator and mentor with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiencesProven success supporting enterprise accounts in North America with experience leading distributed teamsCollaborative customer-obsessed and motivated to grow people and process in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience with observability and security tools such as Datadog Splunk or Palo Alto Networks is a plusWhy You Should ApplyLead a world-class Security Sales Engineering team in one of Datadogs fastest-growing business areasShape Datadogs Security go-to-market strategy across North Americas most innovative enterprisesCollaborate with cross-functional leaders who value inclusion transparency and personal growthEnjoy competitive compensation equity benefits and a culture that supports worklife harmonyAbout Datadogs Security ProductsDatadogs Cloud Security Platform provides unified visibility across infrastructure applications and security signals.
