Senior Security Officer at Equus

Makes physical inspections and security checks of grounds and facility and documents results.Supervises Security Officers and coordinates with them to achieve tasksReports fires and assists in suppressing fires.Investigates incidents on center and provides clear and accurate reports.Performs First-Aid and CPR as needed.Controls disturbances and assists staff in de-escalating volatile situations.Ensures students civil rights are not violated.Transports students as assigned.Demonstrates helpful responsible and caring attitude.Picks up and delivers material as directed.Performs routine vehicle inspections on GSA fleet.Reports vehicle repair needs to supervisor.Completes required security logs documentation and records accurately and on time.Maintains timely and accurate vehicle and transportation logs and records.Maintains timely and accurate student accountabilityAccurately logs employees visitors vendors and students as they enter and exit the center.Searches all students entering center for contraband.Searches others entering and exiting center as directed.Supervises students in isolation.Answers the phone in a timely manner.Ensures phone is used for official business onlyOther duties as assignedQualifications : To perform this job successfully and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
