For more information visit follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier About this roleCarrier is looking to hire a Senior Service Engineering professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in our light applied equipment. Maintain effective communication and frequent contact with key customers and field team members perform highly complex diagnostic procedures and prepare reports for the senior leadership team. Communicate technical information to key stakeholders and keep key customers and field team members up-to-date on outstanding issues.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist field personal with complex problems on light applied equipment.Diagnose faults and identify solutions for the field teams.Provides technical support to the field on all light applied equipment.Answer gateway cases to support CCS on light applied equipment.Provide job site support on cases that require advanced troubleshooting.Respond to gateway calls in a quick and professional manner.Assist the field to deliver quick efficient service to the end users.Identify product issues and work to identify solutions.Maintain effective communications with key customers and field team members to ensure product enhancements/improvements are complete and accurate.Maintain frequent contact with key customers which requires a high degree of tact and courtesy.Act as the expert in product knowledge/subject matter.Perform highly complex diagnostic procedures.Prepare reports for senior leadership displaying interpreted test information to resolve design/system related problems and to ensure continuous improvement.Communicate technical information to technical/non-technical stakeholders including senior leadership.Ensure that key customers and field teams are kept informed on outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements upgrades or repairs.Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED5 years of experience in the HVAC industry1 years of experience with the Microsoft Office SuiteClean and valid drivers licensePreferred Qualifications Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:Bachelors Degree from a recognized college or university in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Construction Management or building HVAC.Field experience and an understanding of the installation and operation of HVAC equipment.Ability to lead and motivate teams.Strong problem solving planning and management skills.Ability to read and understand scope of work.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Experience in dealing with a number of simultaneous challenges requiring knowledge of many different disciplines.A true team player who has the customers best interests first and foremostBenefitsEmployees are eligible for benefits including:Health Care benefits: Medical Dental Vision; wellness incentivesRetirement benefitsTime Off and Leave: Paid vacation days up to15 days; paid sick days up to 5 days; paid personal leave up to 5 days; paid holidays up to 13 days; birth and adoption leave;parental leave; family and medical leave; bereavement leave; jury duty; military leave;purchasedvacationDisability: Short-term and long-term disabilityLife Insurance and Accidental Death and DismembermentTax-Advantaged Accounts: Health Savings Account; Healthcare Spending Account; Dependent Care Spending AccountTuition AssistanceTo learn more about our benefits offering please click here: Work With Us Carrier Corporate The specific benefits available to any employee may vary depending on state and local laws and eligibility factors such as date of hire and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives subject to plan requirements.
