For more information, visit www.bitgo.com.This role will require being full-time onsite at our San Francisco office to support collaborative team dynamics and innovative problem-solving.BitGo is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Go Accounts (Custody) organization and help us build resilient, robust services that enable customers to securely store and access their cryptocurrency while meeting compliance requirements around the world.Responsibilities:Design and build scalable, well abstracted, and robust APIs, libraries, and services to empower our API-first platformOwn functionality and scalability features by taking responsibility from inception to deployment and customer integrationExpose and document functionality to the UI, third-party developers, and our internal and external toolingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient codeEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyParticipate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvementWork closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand and refine product requirementsProvide mentorship to your peers in the broader engineering team through code reviews and education on best practicesSkills & Experience: We're seeking forward-thinking engineers excited to build at the forefront of the crypto space, while proactively embracing AI to amplify their impact and output.
