The Tanzu Platform is a pre-engineered and AI-ready private cloud platform-as-a-service solution that enables organizations to develop operate and optimize mission-critical applications easily and securely. It helps organizations accelerate the delivery of applications by providing powerful abstractions standardized automation and simple commands for application teams platform engineers and IT this role you will contribute to the Tanzu Platform by developing components that enable Platform Engineering teams to achieve operational efficiency at scale and supercharge the delivery of applications and AI implementations.Key Responsibilities:Partner with the product managers and engineers in design and implementation of product enhancements and bug fixesAnalyze platform architecture and understand customer deployments to identify potential functional or performance issues and solutions to address thoseBuild and integrate with CI/CD pipelinesTroubleshoot complex issues in clusters applications and servicesImprove the engineering tools and processes in the teamRequirements:Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience OR Masters Degree with 4 years of relevant experienceExperience working on and contributing to distributed systems or application platformsProficiency in Go Ruby Java or C. Ability to quickly ramp up and contribute to a large polyglot codebaseExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to solving complex challengesStrong verbal and written communication skills applying them effectively during collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholdersMust have legal authorization to work in the USPreferred Qualifications:Expertise in the internals of Cloud Foundry BOSH containerization technologies container networking or MySQL DB engine & clusteringProficiency in Cloud Foundry functionality and operationsExperience with Test Driven DevelopmentAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is$91000 - $162000This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.Broadcom offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package: Medical dental and vision plans 401(K) participation including company matching Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) company paid holidays paid sick leave and vacation time.
