This role is designed for individuals eager to learn about cybersecurity in a corporate environment working closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in defending against evolving cyber threats. The intern will assist with daily security operations participate in projects and help ensure the organizations systems remain secure and resilient.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in implementing maintaining and upgrading security measures policies and controls under supervisionSupport vulnerability management processes including tracking and documenting remediation effortsHelp analyze security incidents and participate in root cause investigationsContribute to the implementation of security tools and processesAssist in monitoring the organizations security posture and identifying potential vulnerabilitiesSupport network security controls (e.g. firewalls IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection systemsParticipate in efforts to counter security breaches and reduce future risksSupport corporate identity solutions including Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra IDHelp implement and maintain identity protection toolsContribute to the Security Awareness Training programAssist with SIEM system monitoring.Help write reports and provide insights on security policies and incident responsesPerform analysis of security events and logsEducation and Qualification RequirementsCurrently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related fieldBasic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practicesFamiliarity with Microsoft Active Directory and cloud identity solutions (preferred)Interest in account management password policies and access control principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentAbility to maintain confidentialityThe Company is an equal employment opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to its applicants and employees.
