On our team you will be in the middle of it all implementing new functionality architecting our system squashing bugs maintaining the health of our code and continually growing as an engineer. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle from ideation through building testing deploying monitoring and supporting mission critical systems. Youll face and solve a wide range of challenges: technical product and operational shaping your personal growth and career along the way as well as helping mold and grow the members of the team.What youll do:Lead and drive end-to-end technical initiatives managing projects typically involving 2-3 engineers from initial design and architecture through to successful production deployment.Engage in shaping the technical architecture of the productHelp translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutionsMentor other engineers support the technical culture and help grow the teamGenerate ideas for new initiatives and technologiesCommunicate with project leads product managers and other software developersWhat youll need:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.6 years programming experience ideally on a modern stack.Hands-on experience with queueing/streaming services such as Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS.Hands-on experience with AWS services such as API Gateway etc.Ability to design resilient software components within a distributed systemEmerging ability to lead and influence a teams technical directionCompensation and BenefitsThe base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidates experience skills and location.This role may also be eligible for a bonus and/or long term incentives.
