We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join our team. In this role you will work with internal teams and business partners to design develop and implement scalable technology solutions that support core business systems. The successful candidate will be organized collaborative and motivated to deliver reliable highquality applications. ResponsibilitiesDesign develop test and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies (e.g. Java Struts WebSphere Tomcat).Analyze business and system requirements to develop effective and scalable technical solutions.Contribute within an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.Debug review and maintain existing systems to ensure performance stability and scalability.Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsincluding business analysts architects and quality assurance professionalsto deliver productionready features.Apply best practices in code quality version control and DevOps continuous integration.Optionally use AWS for cloudbased application deployment and infrastructure management.Provide technical and knowledge sharing with team members.Qualifications3 years of professional experience in Java development. Java Struts WebSphere Tomcat Oracle Javascript AWS (preferred) Understanding of Java object-oriented programming frameworks (such as Spring or Hibernate) REST APIs and relational databases.Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (e.g. EC2 S3 Lambda) is a plus.Hands-on experience working in an Agile SDLC environment.Ability to analyze complex issues and deliver efficient maintainable solutions.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting.
