Description The Senior Software Engineer, Lending (Temenos) leads, develops, and supports process management and automation solutions using the Temenos LOS Platform and other technologies. The role follows established configuration, change control processes and works closely with peers, stakeholders, and end users to ensure technical compatibility and positive user experience. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:Job DutiesLead analysis, design, development, and deployment of complex Temenos LOS and Automation applications across functional teams to meet committed deliverablesDesign, develop, test, and implement Temenos LOS solutions using Temenos T24 and Temenos-specific tools like TAFJ, IF, IRIS API, Java, Microservices, and ORIS in multi-tier environments, using best practices to develop clustered, reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutionsStrong experience in CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices adhering to best practices, patterns, versioning, and iterative design methodologiesCollaborate with business partners, architects, and technical groups to review, design, and implement requirements and strategy; provide estimates for development effortPartner with business and IT stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business needs with quality and within the defined timelineCreate and maintain design and process flow documents to support the full software development lifecycleContribute to identifying and evaluating potential solutions for both technical and business suitability, as part of the production go-live warranty period and L3 production support of systems during regular and off-hoursConduct performance testing, tune, and optimize programs and processes to meet the SLAsAs a subject matter expert, mentor less experienced Software Engineers on a day-to-day basisEssential SkillsMinimum 6 years' experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in the financial services industry, including experience with system analysis, design, development, and deployment experienceMinimum 2 years' experience leading complex and large-scale applications involving Temenos LOS platformMinimum 4 years' Temenos LOS development experienceStrong experience with Temenos-specific tools like TAFJ, IF, IRIS API, and ORIS, and skills in system design, customization, debugging, release management, and performance tuning for platform modulesExperience with Temenos T24, including specific modules like Funds Transfer, Teller Payments, Accounts, Lending, and DepositsP Command in relevant programming languages like Java, and knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practicesExpertise in TAFJ-based development and understanding of TAFC/TAFJ differencesStrong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills and problem-solving skillsAbility to work autonomously in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentSuperb business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences Working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteMinimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or other related fields of study, or equivalent work experienceLocation: Hillsboro, OR 97124 | Rocklin, CA 95765 | (HYBRID)Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:$122k - $145k annually + annual bonusTarget Compensation inRocklin, CA 95765:$134k - $162k annually + annual bonusBenefits options include:Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage401K matching up to 5% per pay periodAccrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment11 paid federal holidaysSpecial employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, and personal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject to standard account requirements and underwriting criteria)What makes First Tech different?
