Senior Software Engineer – Network Automation at Re Focus LLC

About the Role Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Contract) to lead automation initiatives supporting the Wells Fargo Networking organization. This role sits within Secure Network Innovation and Automation (SNIA)-a group responsible for network strategy innovation automation solutions and lab engineering. The selected engineer will support the SNIA Automation Team developing automation that improves network testing SRE operations configuration management compliance reporting and network device software lifecycle workflows. You will work across lab engineering site reliability engineering and networking tower teams to automate device configurations patch/upgrade certifications SRE operations workflows and device compliance tests. Responsibilities (In This Role You Will): Contribute to large-scale strategic planning efforts across automation and network engineering. Design develop test debug and document software in support of network automation initiatives and major deployments. Review moderately complex technical challenges requiring deep evaluation of technologies frameworks and internal procedures. Resolve moderately complex issues acting as a technical lead and ensuring high-quality service delivery to internal engineering teams. Collaborate with peers cross-functional partners and mid-level managers to solve technical problems and advance project goals. Lead projects provide escalation support and mentor less experienced engineers on best practices standards and team processes. Required Qualifications 4 years of Software Engineering experience (or equivalent via work training military experience or education) 4 years of Python development experience 3 years of experience with DevOps processes and Release Management Desired Qualifications Strong expertise in Python Experience using the Django framework Nautobot (Network Source-of-Truth / Automation) experience Network engineering background (preferred but not required) Networking certifications such as CCNA or CCNP Job Expectations Telecommuting is not available Must work in a hybrid onsite schedule No relocation assistance No visa sponsorship Local candidates strongly preferred Key Skills Continuous Integration,APIs,Jenkins,Junit,Distributed Control Systems,Testng,GAMP,Test Automation,CI/CD,Cucumber,Programmable Logic Controllers,Selenium Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
