Youll help design build test and deploy a full-featured service running across large-scale compute clusters and AWS cloud infrastructure while continuously improving performance reliability and user experience.What Youll DoLead and support all phases of agile software development including design development testing integration and deploymentBuild and optimize distributed systems running at scale across AWS and high-performance compute clustersApply advanced AI techniquessuch as LLMs RAG and agentic AIto enhance system capability and automationImprove performance reliability and scalability through tuning monitoring and observability best practicesSupport ongoing operations sustainment and enhancement of mission-critical servicesMentor junior engineers provide technical guidance and contribute to architectural decision-makingEvaluate technical requirements estimate effort and create high-quality designs and documentationWhat You BringTechnical ExpertiseHands-on experience with LLMs RAG frameworks and agentic AI systemsDeep understanding of AWS cloud architecture services SDKs and APIsStrong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or TerraformExperience with observability and search platforms (Elasticsearch OpenSearch etc.)Solid grounding in CI/CD pipelines automated testing deployment and monitoringStrong Java development skills for distributed networked multi-threaded systemsAgile development experience with modern source control and collaboration toolsStrong Linux fundamentals and the ability to script in languages like Python Ruby or PerlFamiliarity with microservices architectures and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)Understanding of security and compliance best practices for cloud-native systemsWho You AreYoure an engineer who brings independence curiosity and technical rigor to every challenge. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
