Unlock your ambition turn ideas into world-changing realities and join an organization where every voice makes a difference and every difference builds a healthier world.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for defining developing and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructureWork with a cross functional team of engineers scientists and applications experts to translate high level PET Acquisition CT/MR application needs that demand new reconstruction capabilities into component-level requirementsDesign and implement solutions to complex data management and distributed processing software problems in the reconstruction platform domain in accordance with established software development practices and processes.Plan and perform integration activities at component sub-system and system levels. Document designs and verification activities; perform component & subsystem level verifications participate in system level verifications and validations as necessary.Translate PET Acquisition CT/MR application needs that demand new reconstruction and/or data acquisition capabilities into component-level requirements.Design and implement solutions to complex data management and distributed processing software problems in the reconstruction platform and/or data acquisition domain in accordance with established software development practices and processes.Drive increased efficiency across the teams eliminating duplication leveraging product and technology reuseSupport process improvements which guide the development sustaining & support activitiesApply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP CI Software and Product Security Scalability Documentation Practices refactoring and Testing TechniquesWrite code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectUnderstand performance parameters and assess application performanceWork on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosenRequired QualificationsBachelors Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with minimum years of experience 5 yearsExperience with Linux based programming on X86 systems.Demonstrated proficiency in C programming and Object oriented programing concepts applied in a production software environment.Experience with performance profiling and optimizationWorking knowledge in configuration management tools such as GiTCurrent US experience is required.US citizens or permanent residents required.
