Overview

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to design and implement comprehensive data and analytics solutions using modern technologies such as Databricks, Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, and AWS.

This role involves creating reusable data management patterns, providing technical leadership to data engineering teams, and collaborating across functions to deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data mesh and data lake solutions, focusing on ingestion, validation, and orchestration using Databricks, Starburst, Collibra, and Immuta within AWS environments.
  • Create reusable data management and integration patterns; participate in architectural review boards.
  • Provide technical leadership and best practice guidance to data engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data and analytics solutions.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards, governance policies, and data management best practices.
  • Optimize data pipelines, queries, and infrastructure for performance and scalability.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to data engineering, ensuring security and compliance.
  • Lead technical and business discussions on future architecture direction.
  • Support change management initiatives by identifying organizational needs for resources, structures, and culture.
  • Participate in IT strategy development and innovation planning.
  • Develop business cases for new architectural initiatives.
  • Define and communicate domain-wide policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Lead architecture governance processes and evaluate emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience across the full project lifecycle: design, development, testing, implementation, and production.
  • Advanced knowledge of data engineering and analytics tools: Databricks, Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, and AWS.
  • Subject matter expertise in multiple solution patterns.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, particularly within the Client.
  • Proven experience in building and leading successful teams.
  • Advanced consulting and enterprise business knowledge.
  • Strategic thinking and familiarity with emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with architecture governance and IT strategy development.
  • Familiarity with change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
