The Program Manager will be responsible for the cost schedule and technical performance of assigned programs while achieving key business results and customer satisfaction.Essential Functions: Oversee all phases of program management from concept to closure Serve as primary liaison between Supply Chain Management and other functions for key programs/products Manage key supplier performance and relationships Lead supplier recovery strategies communicating critical issues to internal stakeholders with solution-focused actions Optimize and manage procurement processes for compliance and efficiency Develop comprehensive program plans including schedule budgets staffing and other plan elements Manage programs to achieve program and business objectives Monitor program execution tracking progress against plans and take corrective actions to course correct as necessary Manage risks and opportunities to ensure program success Act as the primary interface with customers ensuring alignment and satisfaction Provide clear concise program status updates to both management and customers Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals Lead proposal preparation to support new business opportunities.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 6 years experience as a Project/Program Manager. Alternatively graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience Experience in Supply Chain and material planning Advanced knowledge of Project/Program Management methodologies and practices Experience in proposal preparation including developing cost estimates schedules and technical content to support bids and contract negotiations Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management. Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including MS Project Excel Outlook and PowerPoint The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with a proven track record of directing teams toward successful project outcomes. Up to 20% of travel may be expected.Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with DoD programs and Provisioning Subcontract Management experience Formal training in Project Management PMI certification (e.g. PMP) Active DoD security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to DoD classified information.In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in California Massachusetts New Jersey Washington and the Greater D.C Denver or NYC areas is 104500-$193500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state and Vermont is $ 90500-$168500.
