The individual's responsibilities are toassistin the maintenance of theplant cost accounting processes and to provide operational/cost accounting analysis in support of plant operations. This position will report tothePlant Finance Lead.This position will be based in Danbury, CT, Bedford, MA, Ambler, PA, or Chester, PA.WhatYou'llDo:Analyze,understandand interpret financial results; provide insightful and actionable feedback/recommendations for management inidentifyingopportunities for improvement.Supportmonthly/annualforecasting/budgeting;Ensure the plant financial forecasts and budgets are aligned with Operational,MSDivision and Corporategoals;Support the establishment ofstandard costing rates and partner with Operations to update material cost, BOM and routings for costroll;Support and review proposedproductivityprojects;Review/explainmanufacturingvariances;Business/Operationsdecisionsupportthroughanalysis;Providetimelyplant results and driveaccountability;Complete month end close tasks ensuring that financial statements related to the Plantsare properlystatedand conform togenerally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP), including inventory valuations and reserveamounts;Provide financial education/training and guidance to non-finance employees.Be a strong business partner for our manufacturing site, business unit and divisional leadership team membersWhat We Seek:3-5 years of related experienceBachelor's Degree in AccountingorFinance;Financial Modeling andanalysisexperience;Cost accounting knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environmentpreferred;Knowledge ofgenerally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP) and internal controlconcepts;Strong analytical andproblem solvingskills;Ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic globalenvironmentProactive, future-looking, positiveattitudeProficient SAP,Exceland PowerPoint skills; Business Objects and/or SAP BPC aplusStrong communicationskills;ability to summarize and clearly communicate financial analysis tonon-financial business partnersDemonstrated understanding of continuous improvement through identification, vetting, and tracking of improvement projects.Ability to be onsite up to 10% of the time.
