Our identity security solutions secure and enable thousands of companies worldwide giving our customers unmatched visibility into the entirety of their digital workforce ensuring workers have the right access to do their job no more no less.Built on a foundation of AI and ML our Identity Security Cloud Platform delivers the right level of access to the right identities and resources at the right timematching the scale velocity and changing needs of todays cloud-oriented modern enterprise.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement new architecture patterns using Infrastructure-as-CodeDevelop and document cutting-edge techniques and concepts with team membersDesign build and maintain a resilient secure and efficient SaaS application platform to meet established SLAsAutomate deployment monitoring management and incident responseMonitor site stability and performance and troubleshoot site issuesDesign and scale infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demandManage cross-functional requirements working with Engineering Product Services and other departments.Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into productionDevelop and improve operational practices and proceduresProactively meet standards for information security and compliance such as ISO SOX SSAE 16 etc.Background & Experience:10 years of experience in 24x7 production operations supporting a highly available environment for a SaaS or cloud service provider10 years of experience with cloud infrastructure environments preferably AWS10 years of experience with containerization virtualization and configuration management technologies5 years of experience with Kubernetes5 years of experience with Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) managing infrastructure across multiple accounts and regions in AWS5 years of experience with designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines especially for Terraform and Kubernetes10 years of experience using scripting languages (Ruby Python etc) and strong proficiency with shell scriptingStrong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniquesStrong interpersonal and teaming skills - ability to set and enforce process and influence engineers who are not direct reports.Ability to operate in an agile entrepreneurial start-up environment.Familiarity with Agile and Scrum concepts and practicesEducation (preferred not required):Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline or equivalent experience is preferred not requiredBenefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission along with potential eligibility for equity participation. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary for US-based employees will be in this range from (min-mid-max USD): $134600 - $192300 - $250000Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employees home location.Benefits Overview1.
