This is a hybrid role based in Austin TX. Youll be in the office at least once a week and more frequently as team or project needs require.What Youll Do:Partner with cross-functional teams to design build and deliver high-quality software.Provide hands-on technical leadership ensuring the team focuses on the right problems and builds practical right-sized solutions without adding unnecessary complexity.Review code and offer constructive actionable feedback to maintain high engineering standards.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.Lead POCs research new tools frameworks and methodologies to enhance team efficiency.Thrive in a dynamic environment staying effective while juggling multiple concurrent priorities.Required Experience:8 years of software development experience.Strong experience with C# .NET and SQL.Experience working at scale with cloud providers such as AWS.Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).Understanding of modern architectural patterns for SaaS systems (e.g. microservices event-driven design distributed systems).Strong communications skills including the ability to understand stakeholder needs and persuasively articulate technical solutions at the appropriate level of technical depth.Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude.Independent highly motivated engineer who drives work forward with minimal oversight.Not required but great if you have:Familiarity with big data ecosystems including Airflow-based ETL workflows data lake architectures or platforms like Snowflake Databricks or cloud-native data-lake services.Experience with JavaScript and modern UI frameworks (React Angular) is a plus.Hands-on experience building and tracking service-level objectives (SLOs) with contemporary monitoring/observability platforms (e.g. Grafana Prometheus Datadog).Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect SailPoints differing products industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary for US-based employees will be in this range from (min-mid-max USD): $151100 - $215800 - $280500Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employees home location.Benefits Overview1.
