Senior Strategy and Executive Operations Manager
As a Senior Strategy and Executive Operations Manager within the Media Lab Center of Excellence (CoE), you will serve as the strategic and operational partner to the Vice President (VP) of Media. This dual-focused role blends high-level strategy with executive operations and communications. In this position, you will independently solve ambiguous business challenges, turn data-driven insights into plans, and lead various initiatives across a matrixed organization. Concurrently, you will manage executive priorities, craft internal communications, and align stakeholders behind the VP's direction. This role offers exceptional visibility, directly influencing Google's global media strategy and organizational culture.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $171000 - $248000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the VP of Media, representing their perspective in critical forums and driving consensus across matrixed teams with engaging priorities.
- Manage critical internal communications, strategic leadership initiatives, and high-impact meetings and presentations to maximize the VP's effectiveness.
- Anticipate organizational needs, identifying potential hurdles and opportunities ahead of key-executive discussions.
- Support the development, execution, and tracking of global Media Lab strategies, including market analysis, goal setting, and resource allocation.
- Support annual and quarterly planning-cycles, including all executive presentations, translating high-level market trends into initiatives and managing the associated change management and communications.
- Identify organizational bottlenecks and design data-backed solutions to improve operational velocity.
- Partner strategically with external global media agencies and internal cross-functional teams to evaluate media effectiveness, optimize global investments, and ensure alignment with the VP's direction.
