The successful individual will be a licensed structural engineer with solid experience in the design of steel concrete and wood materials for commercial and industrial buildings.Expected annual salary of $120000 - $140000.Qualifications : Perform and oversee structural analysis design and detailing on a variety of commercial and industrial building projectsCollaborate with the architect owner and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawingsLead manage and mentor a team of engineers designers and drafters to execute structural designs.Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during designInterface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complicationsAttend construction site visits and assist in construction administration.Manage profitability of projects and maintain a working relationship with clientsParticipate in business development including proposal writing and contact negotiationsBe available to travel to local job sites and client meetings several times per week.Be present in the office during the days and hours that are set by the office manager. In-office work is required for this role.Be able to lift 35 pounds climb ladders and work from high platforms.Be able to simultaneously work on multiple projects with challenging schedules in a high-energy work environment.Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
